How to Install Vortex for Kodi Step by Step Guide (Jan 22, 2017 Update)

January 22nd update: The Vortex Kodi add-on has been updated to v1.0.8. A Movie Zone section has been added and while it is empty right now, fans should be excited for this. Rockcrusher used to run one of the most popular and reliable movie sections in Kodi, so we are eagerly waiting to see what he has in store.
      ___
Rockcrusher and Dreamweaver recently announced their departure from VidTime, and now they return with the Vortex Kodi add-on, a 2-person collaboration. Rockcrusher and Dreamweaver are a real life couple (according to social media at least) so we will soon see if working with your spouse is a genius idea or a disaster!
The Vortex Kodi add-on is split into two sections as expected: Rockcrusher and Dreamweaver. All trademark sections from both return: Epic fails, The Chive, Parkour, Racing, MotorSport, Music, and more.
There is a Special Events section in place for what we assume will be PPVs and other special events.
As expected, all links are in working order and you can expect nothing but quality from these two.
If you are interested in the installing the Vortex Kodi add-on, follow our guide below.

How to Install Phoenix for Kodi Step by Step Guide (Jan 15, 2017 Update)

January 2nd Update: Phoenix has been updated to v3.2.0. While the changed below don’t tell you much, we do know that Lambda regularly updates the Phoenix code, so we think that some of the improvements in Phoenix follow the new Exodus update released this week.
          Phoenix v3.2.0 Change Log
          Updated indexers
          Updated providers
          Cosmetics

The Kodi Phoenix team has gone through some changes lately, with Woody, Vinman, and Rockcrusher semi-retiring/moving on. However, Phoenix is still strong with a good group of playlists. One242415, Crusader, Cosmix, morepower, and more are still providing great content in the Kodi Phoenix add-on! And instead of just individual sections, there are now grouped sections for TV, sports, and new movies, popular sections for fans of the add-on.

Kodi Phoenix organizes some of the categories in the add-on, with separate sections for Phoenix TV, Sports, New Releases. Playlists from the content curators like One242415, Crusader88, TNPB still exist underneath that. Overall, the add-on is organized nicely!
If you don’t have Phoenix yet, use our guide below to get it today. Phoenix is one of the longest running “group” add-ons for Kodi.
